Various Artists
Pebbles Presents Highs in the Mid Sixties Vols. 12-23

Unfortunately, transcribing volumes 1-11 has taken its toll, and I must stop for now. You can find all 23 volumes in this series on Lost in Tyme. No liner notes, but all the music. Thanks for sticking with the series through the first eleven volumes!

I discovered your blog a short time ago and have enjoyed your posts. Thank you for sharing the High's in the mid-60's series and especially giving us the link for the other 11 volumes. Keep up the good work.

Please, please!!
Repost the other volumes as well.
Your uploads of "The Highs of The Mid-60's" are so much better than the from the other blogger.

Glad you liked them. I try to get the best transcription from vinyl that I can. But that effort is nothing compared to typing up the liner notes - that was the killer!

man, i don't doubt that in the least. it was like a history lesson for me, reading through them. i'm 34, missed these bands the first time around and enjoyed your posts immensely.

you think you'll ever rip the remaining LPs, maybe leave out the liner notes or just scan them or something? the sound you get on these is head and shoulders above what lost-in-tyme's got.

how'd you do that, by the way? is there a link you can point me to that can get me started with the basics? my old man's got stacks o' wax he's been planning on giving away for ages, and my 'wait, i'll figure something out, just take good care of 'em in the meantime' is starting to wear thin...

am sure you're hella busy, any pointers would be much appreciated.

thanks again for these comps, can't tell you how much i'm enjoying them.

just did some googling. if you can scan everything into pdfs, you can probably export the text into a more manageable format...

also, if it means you're more likely to post the rest of those comps, i'd be willing to help.

Hey, I'll second that, ksn. Sound quality on these is awesome... and they were in major need of an upgrade from the old mp3 rips on Lost-in-Tyme for sure. I have about a dozen of the LPs and they sound better on these mp3s than when I play the original vinyl (I listened back-to-back!).

Anything I can do to help you complete the series, just shout. I could transcribe liners, work on the audio to your specs, whatever... These are now the definitive rips of vols. 1-11, no question about it! Many thanks for all your effort.
